VOGUE: like a painting

Last Saturday I attended to an exhibition at the Thyssen Museum in Madrid. I got a double invitation so my friend Ana and me went together.
This exhibition brings together sixty fashion photographs inspired by painting. This photos were taken by great fashion photographers of the past thirty years. They were taken by leading names in photography such as Irving Penn, Annie Leibovitz, Tim Walker, Erwin Olaf or Mario Testino.
These images bring to mind famous paintings from fenomenal painters such as Zurbarán, Gauguin, Dalí... Although there are some photographs which meaning is much more subjective.
If you live in Madrid I totally recommend you to go and give it a go. You can also visit the permanent collection at the Thyssen Museum which is also brilliant.
As it was an exhibition of photographs they let me take some pics for you to see. I loved this exhibition and I hope you do as well.

Beautiful Karlie Kloss

The exhibition is only available until the 12th of October so go before it ends.
Thanks for reading. I hope you enjoyed this post and I will see you very soon!

GET READY WITH ME: Concert Edition

As you may know from one my last post I attended to a concert last week and I thought It was a good idea to share with you guys what I took with me to the concert and what I wore.
So this post is going to be a get ready with me/ what's in my bag  (going to a concert). I hope you enjoy it haha.

First of all, I think that one of the most important things to take to a concert is your camera, mine is not reflex, it is semi-reflex so you won't have a problem to enter the concert (here in Spain sometimes they don't let you take professional cameras).
Then I also took my earphones with me. As I wanted to have a good place to enjoy the concert I went to the queue pretty early so I took my earphones with me in order to avoid being bored while waiting. Besides, some tissues are always a must. However, instead of taking with me my big wallet I just took this ck small wallet with some money and my id. Finally I took this small make-up bag from clinique

Inside the make-up bag this was everything I took with me. I took with me some portable phone charger as I was going to spend the entire day outside of my house. Then I also took some lipbalm (Carmex) and some powder. As you can see I took some make-up to be able to be perfect just before the concert, for example the naked basics, the go colossal mascara by maybelline, a blending brush from Real Techniques, a lip liner from KIKO and the lipstick Diva by MAC.

I think that it is a good idea to take something to eat. I just had sushi at my house and I also took a coke zero to be hydrated

Finally, this is the bag that I took with me. Although lately It has been hot here in Madrid I took this shirt with me. It is from ZARA.

I hope you enjoyed this kind of post and I will see you very soon

Small Primark Haul

Hi! A few days ago I went to Primark. Last time I went was back when I was in Brighton last summer. Here in Madrid you can find some primarks too but all of them are quite out of the city centre and it is quite hard to get to them on public transport, and as I haven't got a car I couldn't go to any of them.
But a few days ago, some friends and I decided to go to the nearest we had (although it took us more than an hour to go). I didn't go crazy about it and I didn't buy a loot of things. I just purchased small things that I wanted to try haha.
Later I thought that maybe it was a good idea to share them with you!
Here is everything I bought (except for the panties and bras haha)

So this is mostly everything I bought. It includes some gentle facial cleansing wipes, some mini hands and face cleansing wipes to carry in my bag, a blender sponge, cotton disques to remove my make-up, a lip-balm, some metallic temporary tattoos, and some make up brush cleanser.

I am very excited about the tattoos and I will try them as soon as the heat arrives here in Madrid haha.

I know it is quite a different post but I hope you liked it and I will see you very very soon!

OUTFIT #2

Hi there! How are you doing?
Today I bring you a new outfit post, I did one a few months ago and recently I have bought a couple of things and I realized I love this outfit so much. It is mainly black and white. I love wearing black, grey and white. I think it's great for winter too... I just do not feel the same way wearing more lively colors.

I would say this outfit is perfect for a night out, or maybe just a good evening with friends or even a date (not for me haha). But you can definitely wear this on an everyday basis.

I am wearing a very cute white shirt by ZARA (I think is out of stock now) with a Brandy Melville top under it (CHIYO TOP)
I paired it with some grey jeans by Pull and Bear (I bought them last year so they are not available anymore)
Then I am also wearing a black jacket on top of it which is from Stradivarius and I bought it on a sale.

My purse is from Bimba y Lola which is a brand that I LOVE when it come to purses. It was on a sale so it only was 34€.

The lipstick that I am wearing is DIVA by MAC.

Finally my shoes are from ZARA too. I love them so much. I have been looking for a booties like these for a long time and when I saw them I just fell in love with them They were only 30€ and they are now on the store so you can go and buy them.

I hope you enjoyed this post and if you did please share the blog with the people you care about and follow me on Twitter and Instagram

OUTFIT: Fall and Winter Season

Hi there!
Today I bring you an outfit that has turned out to be one of my faves for this fall/winter season. I completely love it! And as it has been being a busy week and not a very good one (which is the main reason why I could not upload anything on Thursday) I decided to show you this.

Almost everything that I am wearing here is from Zara (as it is my favorite shop). My shirt, my booties, the coat and the black leggings are from Zara, then the bag is from Parfois and the scarf I can not remember where is it from as it was given to me as a gift.

For make-up I am wearing the lipstick number 913 by Kiko and for eye shadow I used the Naked basics palette and the Heritage Rouge eyeshadow by MAC.
I hope you did like this short post and I will see you very soon.

PS: My next post will be a very special one. Everything I can say is that it is music related!

Thanks again for reading!

#VFNO

Hello!!! How is everything going so far?
I hope you are all doing fine and that going back to class or to your jobs isn't being that hard!

Yesterday here in Madrid there was a big fashion event sponsored by Vogue that was called Vogue Fashion Night Out (VFNO). This event is a way to announce fall/winter clothing collection. In Madrid there were 2 main places where you could go to enjoy your evening. They were both free because is in the street but there were also some places or "Parties" where only people with and special invitation could enter.
Those two places was Fuencarral Street and Serrano Street. If you know anything about Madrid or you have been in Madrid you would probably know that these streets are in Madrid's city centre.
Fuencarral Street is a pedestrian street where most of the fashion and beauty stores are. For instance in this street you would find the only Brandy Melville that there is in Madrid, apart from other shops such as MAC, Kiehls, Kiko, The Body Shop, Double Agent, Brownie, Michael Kors...

But last night I went to Serrano Street. It is placed in El Barrio de Salamanca which is probably the richest area in Madrid. In this street you can find stores such as Dior, Chanel, Lancome, MAC, Nars, Bobbi Brown, Aristocracy, Tous or even the biggest Zara in Madrid (It has around 5 floors).

So once a friend of mine and I arrived there we wanted to have a look around the shops and mostly we wanted to find out what was it about, as it was the first time we attended to this event.
First of all, we went to a MAC store where the shop assistants offer us the chance to try their new collection called A Novel Romance. There they tried on my an eye make up look.
They used a very creamy eye shadow called Electric Cool Eye Shadow in shade Pure Flash (which is a kind of champagne color) and they applied it all over my eyelid. And then they used the Stay Sultry eye shadow (Which is a dark purple color) and they put it in my crest to add some depth to my eyes. Finally they tried on my the Faux Lipstick from the Satin collection and as a blush what the girl used on me was the Animal Instinct Powder Blush ( this color is a shimmering plum).

Then after that we went to the other shops, in some of them there was free food and drinks for everyone. And we had a lovely evening although it was way too crowded.
So I took a few pictures with my phone and then at home I took a few more to show you what I was wearing.

So this was my experience at the VFNO. It was my first time and I did love it. I am definitely going every year henceforth. As you might have noticed I LOVE Zara.

By the way, my friend is Aisha and she also have a blog so why don't you go and check it out?
It would be great !!
Thanks!!!
