I'm in IRELAND

Hi there!!!!
I cannot say with enough words how sorry I am to not posting during the last month! I had the finals exams at university and then on Thursday I travelled to Ireland where I am staying 7 weeks.
I am going to be here to work as an au pair. It is a new experience for me but I am willing to give it a go. I will also share in here my experience so if you have any interest on it you can have a look.
I have tons of post ready to write and upload. And now that I have time, as I do not live in a busy area. I am just in a farm next to a small village and I do not have much to do!
There will be a couple of make up posts coming soon, as well as some lifestyle, music or maybe fashion.

As I am in Ireland I will leave you a video in here by an Irish band that you should know which is the Script and They have this very Irish song which is called Paint the Town Green:

Sorry again for or being around here for the last month. I love writing the entries and sharing things with you so I promise I will be here very soon!
Thanks for reading as always!

MAROON 5: "V-Tour" (Madrid)

Hi there! First of all sorry about not being around here for the last couple of weeks. I've been finishing my university exams and that took all of my time (Although I have two more exams to go).
But I am here now to share my experience at the Maroon 5 concert I attended last Monday 15th of June.
I have to say a lot of things about this concert so keep reading haha. I was so excited when I found out that Maroon 5 was coming to Madrid. I have been a fan of them for a very long time. Besides, as you may know from my "TOP 3: Musical TV Shows" post I love The Voice and Adam Levine is a coach of the US edition. This concert was a gift for my birthday (which was back in October, but I decided to wait till now), so I've been waiting for a long time.
To be honest I have to tell you that I have mixed feelings about this gig. My friend and I had floor tickets so we decided to be outside the venue at 1 p.m. even though they didn't open the doors till seven. This past week the weather in Madrid has been crazy. It was raining the whole time and then it changed and the sun came out and it was so hot, so waiting outside the venue wasn't a good thing.
At 4 p.m. someone decided to start running towards the front door and the order in the queue was completely lost and we stayed 3 more hours standing waiting for the venue to open their doors. And that is all due to the bad organization planned for the event by the Barclaycard Centre.
Once we went into the arena my friend and I managed to get a very close spot next to the stage but once again the organization and security of the event were there for nothing. Around the area that I was anyone was able to breathe due to the huge amount of people there that were pushing toward the stage in order to get a better place. So the people at the front rows (as us) could not breathe.

The first opening act began, It was Nick Gardner. I did not know anything about him before the concert but he is quite good. I would compare him with a young Olly Murs. I liked the cover he performed of Madonna's Like a prayer. Moreover, the guitar player was soooooo hot. I know that his name is Mike and I instantly fell in love when I saw him.

Then, the second supporting artist came to the stage. It was Magic! I am sure that you have hear of them or at least you have heard the song "Rude" or "Don't kill the magic" They were quite good. They sing this kind of pop music with some influences of reggae although they are from Canada. I enjoyed both of those performances and the short cover of Take me to Church. On the other hand during a song that I didn't know I started to get very anxious because of the lack of air we had in there. The security of the venue had to take me out of the crowd and they took me to the paramedics where they checked if I was okay and they tried to calm me down. I stayed there for a few minutes and although I was worried and shocked all I could do was look behind the stage to check if I could see something interesting. After a couple of minutes I went back to my spot in the crowd and I enjoyed the rest of Magic!'s concert.

Around 9:30 p.m. Maroon 5 came to the stage and the concert started. At the beginning I could not enjoy it as much as I would like, because of what happened before but then we started to have more space to move and dance and everything was great. The music was amazing. The voice of Adam was impeccable and completely perfect. They did 17 songs and I particularly loved "This Love", "Sunday Morning", "She will be loved", "Payphone" and "Sugar" although all of them were incredible!

Being completely honest I was expecting a funnier Adam Levine. I've seen how he is in the voice and he is a quite funny guy, but at the concert he didn't talk to the audience or show a little bit of affection or something. He just came to the stage to perform their songs and that's all. I do not know if it was a bad day for him or something but I certainly was not expecting that.

At the end I had a very good time but it was a very tough beginning to a concert. What upsets me the most is that a few years ago here in Madrid in a Halloween Party where Steve Aoki played happened something horrible where some young girls died because of the bad organization of the event. And from then they have tried to make these kind of events safer but in this case they didn't tried at all.

To conclude I have to say Maroon 5 you were awesome. But Barclaycard Centre, you definitely should be more careful with these events.
By the way, I attended with my good friend Aisha, you should definitely check her blog (link in my favorite blogs section).
Thanks for reading, see you very soon ^^

SUMMER HAS ARRIVED!!

Hello there! I know it is not summer yet but it kind of feels like it is. Here in Madrid the hot weather has already arrived haha But summer doesn't mean holidays. I have tons of exams left and this year my vacations don't start till July.
Last night I was thinking about this summer coming and I realized I do not have anything planned yet. I would love to go back to England or plan a good trip. But this is not necessarily the most important things.
This summer I want to try new things and get to know new places. It can be about Madrid or it can be about another place. I want it to be awesome and not boring at all.
So I have promised myself that I will start doing new things this summer. I already have a few projects in mind.
I hope you have an amazing summer!
I will see you soon!!

TOP 3: MAKE UP FAVORITES

Hello there!
I am so sorry about being so irregular in here but I am currently in the middle of my final exams and in  the career that I study these exams never end...
Today I bring you my three current make up favorites. I've been loving bronzer at the moment so there will be one in this most.

These are the three items I've been loving for the past few weeks.

Firstly I want to talk about the Bahama Mamma bronzer, shadow and contour powder by the Balm. I have to say that this product is amazing. I have been hearing so many good things about it that I could not resist to buy it. You can use it either as a bronzer, as a contour powder or an eyeshadow. It is so well pigmented and you only need a very small amount of product each time you use it. Besides the packaging is soooo pretty! I love it so much!!!

Another make up product I've been loving is the MAC Fluidline eyeliner in the color Blacktrack. It is perfect for an everyday make-up look. It is very easy to apply, I like to use this Straight liner brush by Sephora and it works so well! It gives you a very natural look and I think  it is really great.

Lastly I decided to include a lipstick and the last one that I bought is the Velvet Teddy by MAC. Ever since I bought it I can not stop using it! It is the perfect nude shade. It has a matte finish as I love and it last so much (as MAC matte lipsticks do). I use it a looot and I feel like this shade is a color that match every skin color. Two friends of mine and me have it and we all have different skin shades and this lipstick suits all of us. So I kind of felt forced to include it here!

I feel that you can make a quite natural but cool make up look with these three products. I hope you enjoyed this post and I will see you very soon!

BANANA AND NUTS SMOOTHIE

Hi there!
Lately I was thinking about trying to post some cooking entries. I enjoy cooking from time to time so I thought that whenever I feel like sharing with you a recipe it would be a great idea to do it.
During the last month I have become a huge fan of smoothies. They are sooooo good. Besides they are quite healthy and easy to do.
I like to do them with bananas and strawberries.

BANANA AND NUTS SMOOTHIE

To prepare this smoothie you will need:

INGREDIENTS:
- 1 or 2 bananas
- 30g of peeled nuts
- 1 yogurt
-10g of chocolate (optional)
- ice (optional)

You will need a blender and that is everything

METHOD:
You just need to put everything in the blender and mix it until everything is even and there are not any lumps in the mix.

Once you have completed that you can take some straws and it's ready to drink. The thing about smoothies is that they are very equilibrated as you should put some nuts, yogurt and fruits. That's why they are the perfect breakfast. They will give you the energy you need for the day!

That is the final result. I hope you enjoyed this post and I will be here very very soon!

DAILY MAKE-UP ROUTINE (update)

Today I wanted to share with you my updated daily make-up routine. It has been so long since the last one I did. There are a few products that I have changed since my last one and I think it is a good time to share it with you.

For an everyday make-up I do not tend to do a dramatic make-up look. I just like to do it in a glowy and natural way.

To start with my make up I use these products. Lately I've been using the Rimmel London Match Perfection Foundation in the Shade 102 Light Nude. It is quite great. It doesn't have a matte finish but I feel that this dewy finish fits me so much better in this time of the year. Then the concealer that I have been using is the Rimmel Wake me up, which is my all time favorite concealer. I just love it... Unfortunately I have finished it and I can not buy it here in Spain because they do not sell it... To finish with my skin I like to add a little bit of color to my cheeks with the All Day MAC pro longwear blush and I apply it with the Real Techniques multi task brush. To apply the foundation and the concealer I use this sponge.

Moving on to my eyes, for an everyday look I just tend to do quite a natural eye look. For that I use the Naked Basics palette by Urban Decay and I cannot explain how much I love this palette. It is perfect. You can use the first color named Venus (which is the only one with shimmer) as a highlighter, then the second one, Foxy, to set everything in its place, and the two at the end, Naked2 and Crave to fill in your eyebrows. Moreover it gives you the perfect look for your eyes and they last so much. Besides, it has the perfect size, you can take it with you everywhere you go! Then I set my eyebrows in place with the Maybelline Brow drama in the shade medium brown. And for eyeliner I have been using the Maybelline Master Precise liquid eyeliner. Finally to apply my eye shadows I mostly use these two brushes: the Real Techniques Domed shadow brush and the Sephora Crease Shadow brush.
I forgot to put it in the picture but the mascara that I am currently using is the Vibra-perfection (out of stock)

Finally what I apply in my lips is some lipbalm, currently I am using the Carmex one which is great and when I use lipstick I usually wear Velvet Teddy by MAC which I am obsessed with. To highlight I use this cream color base in the shade pearl by MAC.

I hope you enjoyed this post and I will see you very soon with more beauty, lifestyle and music posts.
Bye ^^

3 DAYS IN BCN (VIDEO)

As some of you may know I was a few months ago in Barcelona, which is an amazing city in Spain.
While I was there I filmed some clips and after that I put them into a video and I thought that it was a good idea to share it with you.
I used the song Barcelona by George Ezra because it fits perfectly.
I filmed almost everything that I did or at least I filmed all the interesting places there haha. I am looking forward to go back as I completely fell in love with the beautiful Barcelona.
I hope you like the video.
